First Congregational Church
United Church of Christ
Fellowship
As a Christian church which worships, educates and reaches out, we work together to develop a community of love, strengthening the individuals within our fellowship. Out of our diversity comes unity in love, laughter, play and support of each other.

4th of July Fundraiser – Our church traditionally has a fundraiser at the 3rd Street entrance during the 4th of July festivities. The cause we are raising money for might change each year, but the fun and fellowship are enjoyed each year.

After Worship Fellowship (AWF) – After worship on Sunday mornings, all are invited to a fellowship time either in the Fellowship Hall or in the gathering space. Donut holes, coffee and lemonade are the usual fare, but on special occasions other treats are served. This is an excellent fellowship opportunity for our congregation to greet new and old friends.

All Church Winter Retreat
- Every February a weekend is set aside for the church to enjoy Moon Beach Camp near St. Germain. The weekend is a relaxing retreat to get to know church friends better and be in fellowship.

Annual Church Picnic
 – The Church Picnic is usually held at a public park in  Wisconsin Rapids. An outdoor service has been part of the picnic the last several years. Brats and hot dogs are cooked and the rest is potluck. Often, games are included to entertain.

Easter Sunday Breakfast
 – Often there is a breakfast fundraiser on Easter morning involving many of the youth in a time of fellowship with a cause.

Family Fun Night
 – Periodically there are game nights. It’s a time to laugh and be in fellowship with others.

Get Ready!
 – Almost every Wednesday morning at 10 am, we gather to explore the scripture reading that will be read and preached on that Sunday. And so, we are getting ready for that, but Get Ready! also helps us to prepare for everyday Christian life. This Bible study involves a lot of free-flowing discussion and sharing. People who attend this Bible study find that Sunday’s worship and sermon are much more meaningful. Feel free to drop in and join us to help yourself Get Ready!

Hanging of the Greens
- The Hanging of the Greens takes place the Sunday after Thanksgiving and involves the congregation in decorating our church for the Christmas season. A lunch is served after the job is done.

Open Youth Room – The Youth Room is equipped with a pool table, ping pong table, board games and room to have fun. At designated times the Youth Room is open for youth and their friends to come for fellowship and planning youth events.

Potluck Suppers – Potluck suppers are held periodically during the year for fellowship.

Quilting – The quilting group  meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month throughout the year. Quilters can learn from each other, work on individual projects or combine efforts to serve a mission of  one kind or another.

Women’s Circle - Bradford Circle – This circle meets the second Thursday of each month alternating the time from evening to morning. Devotions and a program are presented at each circle meeting.
